Meet Kalyn Wilson
Kalyn Wilson calls herself the “Dream Decoder,” helping clients navigate life’s transitions and learn the skills they need to feel empowered along the way. As a seasoned HR professional and self-described “reformed insecure girl,” she knows how challenging it can be to let go of fear and unlock your true potential. Inspired by her own life experience — and the joy of seeing clients turn “a-ha” moments into action — Kalyn has dedicated her career to supporting leaders and teams in their own quest towards professional development.
In addition to Coaching with Own The Room, Kalyn is the Founder & CEO of Pure Prodigy Enterprises and an HR Transformation Consultant with Oath, a global tech and media company based in New York. She brings an impressive background in human resources and workforce development to our training team; while serving as a Change Management Strategy Planner for the City of New York, Kalyn upgraded HR systems affecting over 300,000 City employees and organized the first citywide Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course. She also worked as a Trainer with the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership and as a Career Development & Programs Coordinator with the Chicago Transit Authority, where she advised senior leadership on organization-wide policy changes affecting over 11,000 employees.
Kalyn holds a BA in Sociology from University of Michigan, an MS in Public Management from DePaul University, an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Adler University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Adler University. When this busy entrepreneur and lifelong learner is not conducting research or coaching clients around the country, she can be found writing music, singing, and sharing articles on her blog, “Pretty, Witty City Girl.” Kalyn also loves cooking from scratch, and just might share some recipes if you ask!
